Integrate SolarWinds Observability with StatusHub
This article takes you through the steps to integrate your SolarWinds Observability account with StatusHub.
In StatusHub:
To connect SolarWinds Observability into your account, click on 'Services and Integrations' in the Hub Config section.
In the Services and Integrations section, click the right arrow.

You will then see these options appear. Click on the 3 dots to the right to reveal the drop-down menu and choose the Edit option.

Under Edit services, select Integrations and choose SolarWinds Observability, then save.

After you select the SolarWinds Observability option, we will generate a webhook for you to use at SolarWinds.

In SolarWinds Observability:
Webhook configuration:
- Move to Settings → Notification Services → Webhooks

- Configure your webhook by clicking ‘Create Configuration’

- In the ‘Destination URL’ field, paste the Webhook URL copied from the StatusHub Services and Integrations section and save the settings.

Alert configuration:
-
From the left side menu in the SolarWinds panel choose Alerts → Alert Settings → Create Alert.
Remember to toggle ‘Enable this Alert’ and choose Severity option as ‘Critical’.

- In the next step choose ‘Metric condition’ alert type.

- Add appropriate conditions. Below is an example

- In the next step make sure that in the ‘Services’ dropdown ‘Webhook’ option is selected and ‘Send an additional notification when the Alert is cleared.’ is toggled. Please also make sure that alert resending is disabled by setting resend frequency to 0 and ‘Aggregation’ is OFF.

For more information about creating an alert you can refer to SolarWinds Alert Documentation
Note:
While creating an alert, choose only 1 webhook configuration in the dropdown and only 1 website in condition configuration.
Enabling the Aggregation option may cause all incidents not to be resolved.
