Microsoft Teams integration via Workflows - July 2024


Microsoft is shutting down the method that was in use for many years. So going forward this is the new method for connecting StatusHub so it can send notifications to a MS Teams channel.

In MS Teams

  1. Go to https://teams.microsoft.com/
  2. Go to “Workflows” from channel settings

  1. Find “Post to channel when a webhook request is received” flow

  1. Customize the name, and verify the check on the first screen. Then click on "Next".

  1. Click on “Add workflow”

  1. Wait for UI to show the generated URL
  2. Save the URL for later and close the dialog with the “Done” button



In StatusHub

  1. Use the copied URL as the MS Teams subscription address:

  1. Subscribe

  1. You should receive a subscription confirmation in the MS Teams channel
